Individual Counselling

Welcome to yourself, just as you are. You are the expert in your own life!

Through one-on-one sessions we will partner together to identify the sources of your distress and understand how this distress has been impacting all the areas of your life. We will assess what change looks like for you, and decide how to get there.

My role as your counsellor is not to “fix” you because you are not broken, but rather to empower you to fully take ownership of your life in every way while learning to care and nurture yourself in the process.

Relational Counselling

A successful relationship requires equal investment from all involved parties, be it two or more. Relational counselling takes into account the nuances that can exist within intimate relationships.

All relationships have value, even relationships that are difficult and have experienced conflict. Relational counselling seeks to understand "the relationship" and what develops when people come together with purpose. One person is not the source of the distress. Together, we assess conflicting patterns and build tools for capacity, compassion & communication. We will understand the values that have developed in your relationship and how to carry these values forward into the future. As your counsellor, I support you by understanding the relational dynamic as it has developed from the beginning, and advocating for a healthy evolution of your “relationship” as an objective party. Consider relational counselling whether you are seeking counselling to stay together while discovering new goals as a relational unit, or choosing to separate successfully and mutually grieve the loss.

Relational counselling is not about focusing on conflict. Relational counselling is about gaining skills to empower, and honor the shared and varied experiences of partners. Let me help you create a space for honesty, healing, acknowledgement and acceptance!

Group Counselling

As a group facilitator, I am interested in holding space to provide optimum safety for all participants.

Group counselling benefits organizations and many individuals, who are not in intimate relationships but are working toward a mutual goal. Navigating individual needs, multiple personality types, and communication styles make it very difficult to find successful outcomes where everyone feels as though they are being heard and seen accurately. As your group facilitator, I want to assist you in helping your group eliminate barriers to success and feel united as a team!
